Lung cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related
mortality both nationally and globally. The rapid advancement of science and
technology in the field of thoracic oncology demands continuous updates in
knowledge and skills among healthcare professionals to ensure the provision of
optimal patient care.
The Indonesian Society of Thoracic Oncology (Perkumpulan Onkologi
Toraks Indonesia – POTI), as a scientific platform for pulmonologists with specific
competencies in thoracic oncology, remains committed to being at the forefront in
enhancing the capacity and competence of its members as well as other related
healthcare professionals. Continuing this mission, we are organizing the 2nd Lung
Cancer Forum, which will be held on January 16th – 18th , 2026, at Hotel Aryaduta,
Bandung, carrying the theme: “The Art & Science of Thoracic Oncology: Practical
Implementation for Daily Practice.
